:: Under EP
Alors faut dire que nous chez SBWU on est plutot hiphop/funk mais ca fait du bien d'ecouter de belles choses totalement differentes et puis une p'tite review ca va surement leur faire plaisir.
Le groupe "Under" nous vient tout droit de San Francisco et nous accompagne sur cet EP de 4 titres sur des airs electro-pop. Ils ont tout d'abord collaboré avec Paul Scriver (signé chez Ubiquity). "the cars below" et "under" sont plutot sympathiques et tres influencés (d'ailleurs eux meme le disent) par le son de Zero7. Et d'ailleurs les quelques notes de ce deuxieme morceau me fait penser à "Man With the Movie Camera" par Cinematic Orchestra :).
Un grand coup de chapeau par contre pour Jen Triano, voix sensuelle, fluide, rien à redire ...
UNDER are an indie electronica trio playing out of San Francisco. Their acoustic angle on downtempo indie electronica is a breath of fresh air. As can be heard on Cars Below, Jen Triano..s soothing vocals compliment the drums of Ricky Carter and keys of Eamonn Flynn beautifully.
